COOPERATION & SHARING EXPERIENCE FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF VIETNAM SUPPORTING INDUSTRY

Ho Chi Minh City, 28^th May 2015: The 11^st Saigon International Autotech & Accessories show-Saigon Autotech & Accessories 2015 will be held from May 28^th to May 31^st, 2015 at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), 799 Nguyen Van Linh, District 7, Hochiminh City. The exhibition is organized by Asia Trade Fair and Business Promotion (ATFA) in co-ordination with Chanchao International Co., Ltd with the support of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and relevant ministries and branches. Constantly organized for more than 10 times, Saigon Autotech & Accessories 2015 is one of the largest specialized shows which focus on technology products. It is also an opportunity for enterprises to connect, to make business and share the experiences in developing specialization about all kinds of vehicles, parts and accessories market in industries in Vietnam.

These international commitments to WTO and AFTA has become a big challenge for Vietnam automobile industry that how to reduce the prices and increase output. This problem has only one solution in which we have to establish and develop the local supporting industries in order to increase the localization rate for the automobile and motorcycle industries. This has been determined by the Government in Strategies for developing the automobile industry to 2020 and vision to 2030:  “To 2020, basically accomplish the local supporting industry for automobile manufacture. Striving to meet 30-40% (in value) demands for components and parts automobile manufacturing and assembling in the country. Producing some of important details in actuators, gearboxes, and motor (especially for passenger cars and light trucks). Take every step into the supply system of components and parts in the global chain of the automotive industry”. According to Minister of The Ministry of Planning and Investment – Mr. Bui Quang Vinh: “Having developed supporting industry, we can attract and absorb foreign investment to create added values. If not, although we attract many abroad investment capital, but we have not got added values and we are just processor for foreigners “. In accordance with the above guidelines and to meet the needs of companies in the industry, the 11^st Saigon Autotech & Accessories will take place with the purpose of enhancing trade opportunities, developing market, sharing experiences for sustainable development of supporting industry in Vietnam.

With a display area up to 15,000m2, the show’s scale has been increasing nearly 50% in comparation with Saigon Autotech & Accessories 2014. This year show gathers nearly 150 domestic enterprises and 400 foreign enterprises, in which include 500 part and accessory suppliers. Some major brands in the local automobile industry like Veam, Vinamotor; and supporting companies such as: Jaan E, Motevo, Okatsune, Yabanchain Casumina, TC Group, Vietnam Phat, Hai Binh Tan, Maxis, Autolink, Gamma, Nano… brought to exhibition diversified products including spare parts for automobile and motorcycle, assembly equipment, maintenance products, car’s interior, tuning products, clean fuel, etc. Besides that, in order to meet consumption demands of potential consumers, the exhibition also display many products of cruiser, sport motorcycles, scooter of KR Motors, PIAGGIO, Aima electric bicycles. Vietnam is considered as a potential market for supporting industries, thus exhibition also attract the participation of many international enterprises from Malaysia, Thailand, the United States, Japan, Taiwan, China, India, Indonesia, the EU countries… such as: Jun Kaung, Taya Chain, Mobiletron, Nanowin Technology, …

Particularly, to enhance the effects for exhibitors and trade visitors, Organizers have organized Business matching activities to connect business to business, business to consumers and partners in domestic and abroad which help them to meet, exchange, share experiences and promote their products. The activities willbe held on 28^th May, 2015 (14:00 – 17:00) and on 29^th May, 2015 (10:00 – 16:00) at the Main Lobby of Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC).
