Hanoi (VNA) – More than 300 domestic and foreign businesses willtake part in the 14th Saigon Autotech & AccessoriesInternational Exhibition scheduled in Ho Chi Minh City on May 24-27 next year.
On display at 500 booths will be alternative drive units, charging accessories,automobiles, motorcycles, electric and sport bikes, accessories and spareparts, and smart parking solutions, among others.

The event is expected to attract over 15,000 visitors.
According to the organiser Asia Trade Fair & Business Promotion, Vietnam’sspare part industry will face fierce competition from Thailand and Indonesiawhen the ASEAN Free Trade Agreement takes effect in 2018, bringing import-exporttax on automobile accessories and parts among ASEAN countries down to 0 percent.
Preferential treatment will be given to Vietnamese businesses to encouragetheir engagement in the event.
The organising board has also planned a business matching conference, providinga platform for domestic and overseas producers to seek partners.-VNA
